The scrapbooks contain many news clippings and ephemera about parties and weddings attended by McTeer.

Elizabeth McTeer (1936-1988) was born in South Carolina, the daughter of Jack C. and Elizabeth H. McTeer. She attended Hardeeville High School in Hardeeville, South Carolina until around 1950, when her family moved to Savannah, Georgia. Her family lived at 203 E.
